This is not a normal Gaming Centrum post – I am writing this as I am quite pissed and frustrated with Google as of late and I have a rant / Info to post.
Yesterday I receive an email from Google Webmaster Tools stating that Gaming Centrum has been tagged as a Malware Threat. While looking into this I see that my new advertising group Adbrite was the culprit via its scripting. I know, for damn sure, there is no Malware Issue or Threat with Adbrite.
Gaming Centrum does not have any Malware Issues and neither does Adbrite. You are safe in coming to Gaming Centrum. We here at Gaming Centrum do not put up with BS software, malware, viruses, etc.
What I see happening is that Google is punishing Gaming Centrum as this website cranks out many posts per day and they are possibly thinking this is a spam site. What is happing is that Google has denied me from Adsense and Youtube money after years of being with them (since 2005) and they are trying to use their so-called power to block out this website and also other advertising companies because Google wants to control everything on the Internet and sadly everybody is letting them do so. As of right now Google, I, and many others have a love-hate relationship.
I have increased the advertising on Gaming Centrum as you can see on the sidebar and in-between posts on most pages. I understand that people hate advertising including myself but it is necessary. Now what I have seen on Gaming Centrum lately is a bunch of auto playing video ads sometimes multiple video ads on the page playing at the same time. The situation here is that video ads pay much more cash and that is vital for keeping this website up and running. I just checked the site today and there are at least five video ads playing at once on the main page of Gaming Centrum. I will look through my Adbrite coding to reduce the video ads to only the ad in the top right of the page so if there is any video ad you can usually quickly mute them if they auto play the audio.
