Mass Effect 3 is a game that has been dogged by controversy from the outset. The culmination of around 8 years of hard work and dedication finally came out early last month and its time we talked about it, random internet user. The game is good. There, Ive said it. Its very good, but its far from the best in the series. Mass Effect 2 is in my view the best Mass Effect game. Mass Effect had a great idea but never quite managed to get around its self-imposed restrictions and awkward mix of RPG and TPS. Mass Effect 2 improved greatly on the first game but with it brought some niggling bugs and annoyances. Mass Effect 3 has improved again but overall its lacking a certain je nais cest quois that made ME2 so great. The story is probably the biggest sticking point, with consumers waiting six years for the greatest feat of closure yet attempted it was always going to be disappointing to some people.
